When you start to plan your wedding, one of the first concerns is the style and décor. You will want to find those touches that can make your wedding feel extra special. One of the prettiest ways to decorate your wedding is with ribbons and bows.
There is almost no part of your wedding that can’t be made prettier with a well-placed bow. You can use them in the ceremony, the reception site, even on the bridal party. Bows can be romantic and soft, crisp and tailored, or anywhere in between.
A great place to start is with your wedding invitations. Simple one page invitations can be dressed up with a bow on the top. If you are making your own invitations, this is actually quite a simple decoration to add. All you do is use a hole punch to make two hole in the top of the paper. For a fluffy bow, take a piece of organza through the two holes and tie a bow on top – voila! If you prefer a more classic and tailored ribbon detail, take a piece of grosgrain ribbon and put it through the two holes from the front side of the invitation. You then cross the ribbon in the back, and pull each end of the ribbon through the opposite hole out in the front. Then you have a perfect little neat bow.
Brides have always loved bows on their bridal gowns, and there are many beautiful types. There was a backlash against bows on gowns for a while after the terrifying “butt bows” found on 1980s wedding gowns, however bows today are chic and stylish, so do not be afraid to choose a dress that features one. A very pretty and subtle bow detail is to replace covered buttons down the back of a dress with tiny bows. For a more dramatic statement, try an asymmetrical wedding dress that has one large bow on the shoulder.
Even your wedding jewelry can get in on the act. A pretty way to dress up a classic strand of pearls is to tie it with a satin ribbon instead of a basic clasp. This is a particularly nice way to add some flair to the wedding jewelry that your bridesmaids wear. If you are giving them jewelry as a gift, you can keep it very affordable by choosing beautiful strands of Swarovski pearls instead of the costlier cultured pearls. Slip on a satin bow in the color of their gowns, and you will have the perfect finishing touch for the bridesmaid dresses.
The ceremony site is another natural place to decorate with ribbons and bows. The ends of the pews in a church can be dressed up with bows tied from tulle or satin ribbon. If your budget allows, it is also very pretty to have some flowers in the middle of each bow. For brides looking to keep expenses down, the bows alone will still be very festive and pretty.
At your reception, a place that can be decked out with bows is the chairs. Many brides love the look of adding slipcovers to the standard reception chairs. Take it to the next level by adding a wide sash around each chair that is tied into a bow in the bask. You can choose a pretty contrast or accent color to the main chair cover to really add some style and dimension to your décor.
Bows are so versatile that once you start thinking about it, you will find countless ways to use them in your wedding. If your style is more restrained, use the bows in moderation, but if you love an over the top feminine look, then have fun really decking out your whole wedding with ribbons and bows!

Christmas decorating for the home offers a great deal to excite the imagination and capture the magic of the season, and can be a truly festive and joyous time providing memories for all.
Hang holiday wreaths
- In the old days a circle of evergreen, a wreath, was hung in the hopes of warding off evil spirits and bringing in eternal good fortune. The wreath then became decorated with ribbons, berries, bows and other embellishments like toys and ornaments. You can even tie on little candies and have scissors handy to cut them off for guests.
- Start your Christmas decorating for the home by hanging a beautiful Christmas wreath on the front door as a sign of welcome, but don’t stop there. You can hang one on the interior doors, over the mantle, on the windows or loop a mini wreath over the drapery hardware.
Fresh Pines
- If you are going to be using a live Christmas tree, the fragrance of the fresh evergreen will stir the holiday senses. Trim a few of the branches from the bottom before putting it in the tree stand and place them in vases to make simple arrangements in the dining room or an occasional table.
- A few sprigs of holiday greens can be tied to the back of dining chairs with ribbon or hanging from the windows.
Poinsettias
- Arrange poinsettias (if you don’t have pets because they are poisonous) in a guest room, a bathroom or on the hearth. Because they are available in so many beautiful color variations, you can place them anywhere you need a splash of holiday color.
Garlands
- A garland is a decoration (either real or artificial) made from a variety of materials. It can enhance the home in many ways including highlighting furniture, like on the top of an armoire, over a doorway, or on the mantle. If you have stairs or an indoor balcony drape a garland over the railing and weave ribbon through it, topping it off at the banister with a bow.
Ribbons & Bows
- Ribbons can be festive and add color and texture. Use ribbon with wire edges so it will retain its shape from one year to the next.
- Your choice of ribbon can add to your Christmas decorating for the home, from the look of a plaid country style ribbon to an elegant gold.
- Tie generous bows with the ribbon and use in plants, tucked in a bookcase, at the base of your candlesticks, tie one around a stack of coffee table books, on your wreaths, to the handles of any baskets you may be using for magazines, anywhere you want a touch of holiday whimsy and color.
Lights
- Besides just using lights on the tree, adding white Christmas lights are a great way of creating a warm holiday atmosphere. Tuck them on top of the wall unit or bookcase, along the mantel, on the railing with the garland or concealed among the accessories on a console or buffet.
- Beautifully displayed candles of different sizes can be another great Christmas decorating for the home idea that creates a festive atmosphere. Using scented candles of cinnamon or pine adds to the aroma of the season.
- Electric candles in the windows, delight the eye from the inside, and also makes your home inviting from the outside.
Seasonal Fruits
- Supplement your evergreens with fruits of the season including rose hips, fire thorn berries, rosy apples, tangerines, nuts and grapes.
- Something as simple as a plate of fruits and nuts or a bowl of green apples in the hall can be welcoming. Leave them natural to eat or spray them with a splatter of gold or silver to highlight the greens as a variation of the horn of plenty.
- Christmas’ potpourri with dried variations of these fruits can be placed in a glass or other decorative bowl, or simmer the potpourri to gradually distill the fragrance in the air.
- Pillows help to create a comfortable atmosphere to a room. Place pillows of a holiday motif in unexpected areas for a festive touch.
- If you have glass bowls or jars, fill them with the old fashion ribbon candy, or other items that are traditionally associated with Christmas.
- Wrap small packages or display Christmas balls all of one color or mixed.
- Place Christmas theme books in a basket with a teddy bear on the hearth or stacked on the coffee table.
- Stack wrapped packages (not real ones) on the floor and tie together with a big bow, decorate with artificial sprays of berries.
- Fill teapots with greens or holly, use a quilt, or other beautiful fabric for a tree skirt.
All the things you love around the house and everyday items can be used in magical ways to celebrate the joy of Christmas decorating for the home, and it is fun to find new and unexpected homes for your Santas, snowmen, trees and other collections you hold dear. Gather them and display together among garlands with lights, along the mantel, on top of a china or on the shelf of a hutch.
Entertaining friends and family and sharing your home will be a pleasure as your home is transformed from your living space of every day to the magic of Christmas!

It’s amazing how a basic decoration item such as a ribbon can always bring out an impressive decorative look. Offering a great gift is just not enough but the look of wrappings is of immense importance. Personalized ribbon just have all this. You will be surprised of the rewarding look when you use it in showing your company’s name or logo. No wonder, retailers provide gift decorations with their logo or brand name on them. They complete the look of customized labels and gift wrappings.
When colors and design match the theme of an event such as a wedding or birthday invitation, the effect of the personalized ribbon is indescribable. However, its a wise choice when ordered or bought with specific purpose in mind and in large quantities. Therefore you will find it reasonable to use ordinary simple ribbons to decorate your house on minor occasions.
Its cost effective with companies that organize occasions such as weddings and they would absolutely have a variety of customized items to offer to their clients. One important thing that am sure many of you would never think of this ribbons, is that they are important in advertising and promoting businesses. In fact they should be placed in pretty visible places so as to be spotted.
When ordering or buying a personalized ribbon, our intended use will greatly determine the size of the ribbon we require more precisely, the width. One thing that we should put in our minds is that the ribbon can contribute to the elegance of the message and would be a good tool to express one’s personal style.

Spectacular ribbon roses will bloom right before your eyes. Luxurious and magnificent roses can be created in minutes. Making ribbon roses has become quite popular because it is very easy, versatile, and fast. You can also create themes and add your own personal touch; such as color, and texture. Beads can also be incorporated in a tasteful manner. You can repeat this rose and the result will always be different. It looks fantastic in large scale and also in miniature. The abbreviation for ribbon width is RW.
Materials:
1½ yards of 1½ inch of ribbon: 36 RW, wired or non-wired
Scissors
Crinoline
Needle and Thread
Basic Method:
Begin by folding one end of the ribbon down diagonally toward you. This folded ribbon forms the edge of a square. Leave a tail of ½ inch. Fold this portion in half to “close the book.” Place your thumb 1/8 inch away from the fold, and fold again, against your thumb to begin rolling. Roll the short tail as well and continue to roll. As you role several times you will notice that the outer selvedge is starting to form a circle. Attach this budded center on a piece of crinoline and secure with a pin on the back. Make sure you secure the selvedges of your bud with the pin. Now gather the rest of the ribbon either pulling the wire to create a ruffle or with a running stitch down the remaining length of the ribbon. When pulling the wire be very careful not to tear the wire. Crinoline is great because you can spread your ruffle as you stitch down into the backing. When you spread your ruffle you might see parts of the crinoline. In order to hide the crinoline you could place another piece of fabric on the crinoline before stitching the bud and ruffle in place. The fabric could match the rose or be of contrasting color. Once you’ve made a few of these roses you can place them on any project; a quilt, a pillow sham, a purse, or on a table runner.

White and cream wedding invitations have long been a beautiful standard. But in winter, deep rich color can add a special elegance to your wedding invitations. For the creative bride, here are some tips for designing your own extraordinary invitations.
Pick the style of invitation you want and then use the darker color as the base rather than the accent. For example, if you are using a pocket folder style, and your colors are red and cream– try selecting the red for the color of the pocket folder and the cream for the invitation and RSVP card inserts. For a layered invitation, use the red as the base layer and the cream for the invitation overlay.
Using ribbon creatively can really “pop out” an invitation. Accent your invitations by using contrasting ribbon colors. So for example, use a deep green for the invitation and a rich red for the ribbon. Or a deep blue for the invitation and a contrasting green ribbon as the accent. Try adding more than one ribbon–intertwined blue and green on a red invitation will give it a festive, holiday feel. You can also vary the type of ribbon you choose. Most ribbon is double-sided satin, but you can also use sheer organza or velvet for an original look. Browse your local craft store for ribbon ideas and selections.
Changing the color of the ink on the invitation can add a surprising touch. A green invitation with contrasting red ink and matching red ribbon adds a fresh, dramatic flair. Using color, ink and ribbon styles are ways that you can design an original invitation that truly reflects you and your fiance.

Grand openings and ribbon cuttings don’t have to be limited to businesses that have retail locations. If your “real estate” is your website and you work out of your home, this great public relations opportunity is available to you as well, although you will have to plan it a bit differently than someone with a brick and mortal location. A few years ago I attended a “ribbon cutting” for a client’s new website and had a great time meeting people all over the country on a teleconference bridge line.
Since I’m only a few months away from a new website myself, I wondered how to powerfully take advantage of this wonderful promotional opportunity. I made some posts to some discussion lists to which I belong, and the ideas listed in this article are the results of my information requests.
Here are some ideas to spice up your virtual grand opening/ribbon cutting:
Technology
At a minimum you’ll need a teleconference bridge line. My favorite one at the moment is Live Free Conferencing, http://freeconferencing.liveoffice.com/, because you can record the call at no extra charge, the bridgeline holds up to 250 callers, the moderator can mute the entire call if needed, and they offer the ability for muted callers to ask a question via their webcontrol panel.
If you’d like more interaction with your visitors, you will want to use webconferencing/virtual conference room software. There are a number of these services out there, so I recommend that you do a search and try and few before deciding on your provider.
If you’d like to invite a group of people to your event, you can use an invitation service like Evite.com, or sent out an HTML invitation to your contact list through your email broadcast service like aWeber.com, EzineDirector.com, ConstantContact.com or an audio postcard through a service like AudioAcrobat.com. In order to have your attendees register for this event, you will need to create a contact form on your website that feeds into your shopping cart or autoresponder service.
Event Activities
1. Virtual ribbon cutting. You can do this via a web cam and actually cut a ribbon that’s draped over your monitor which is displaying the home page of your new site and show it via your webinar service/virtual conference room service. Or, you might find an animated graphic of a ribbon cutting and show that via your virtual conference room instead.
2. Have people register for your event and give out door prizes. You can spotlight your business colleagues by requesting door prizes for them. Electronic info products are the easiest door prize to award, as you don’t have to mail a physical package to the winner. If some of your door prizes do require mailing, however, you need to request a mailing address from everyone who registers for your event.
3. Hold a teleseminar during the grand opening that’s partially educational, partially promotional. You can make a special offer to all those who attend the live call.
4. Give a virtual tour of your new website via webinar/virtual conference room software.
5. Host a roundtable session at your event that permits attendees to give a 30 second commercial of their businesses. Schedule this at the end of your event so that it doesn’t detract from your offerings.
6. Hold a scavenger hunt on your site during your grand opening. This hunt creates a reason to have people visit the site and visit multiple pages. Create a 3-5 page report or something that’s easy to compile that showcases your expertise and is of value to your visitor for the prize. You might use roll-over images to give clues or find a funny graphic or and hide it in various places throughout your site in obvious and not-so-obvious locations. You could also place audio snippets around your site as well and put clues in those audio files.
7. Sponsor a message board and/or chat room on your site. At specific times post a series of questions, polls, etc. that will make your visitors interact. Ensure that the questions are relevant and of interest to your target market. This will instantly create popularity for your website, as well, for keywords pertinent to your target market.
8. Give away prizes every hour (or every 10-15 minutes for shorter events) and tell your visitors that they have to be present in the webinar room/on the teleconference line to win. Between giveaways, talk about your experience, your offerings, and offer free on-the-spot help for a problem faced by your target market.
Online Publicity/Promotion
1. Post the date and time of opening of your event on CraigsList.com, on the boards for your city/area and surrounding areas.
2. Send out invitations through Evite or though your email broadcast service.
3. If permitted, post the particulars about your event on various lists/discussion groups to which you belong.
4. Send out press release regarding event through online press release services.
5. Create a post about your grand opening/ribbon cutting on your blog and invite attendees to post their comments on your blog
Offline Marketing
1. Join your local Chamber of Commerce and they will offer to hold a ribbon-cutting for you. For virtual/at home businesses, most chambers will do this in their office rather than your home. Many times a photo or article about the riboon cutting will appear in the local press and in the chamber newsletter.
2. Plan a couple of local talks and/or book or product signings to coincide with your grand opening
3. Send out postcards inviting people to your new website and grand opening and offer them a free gift for dropping by.
4. Send out press releases to your local media regarding any “in-person” events you sponsor during this grand opening time
Grand openings are held to generate good will and begin relationships with business colleagues, current clients, and prospective customers. Now, as the owner of a virtual business, you can foster that same good will by sponsoring a virtual grand opening for your new business or new website and get your new venture in gear.

One of the most famous symbols of disease awareness is the red ribbon that is used to raise AIDS awareness. This symbol has been worn by various celebrities with the aim of encouraging understanding about the disease and raising funds for prevention and its eventual cure. Given the popularity of this symbol, the ribbon has also been used to increase awareness for other diseases, such as cancer. For breast cancer, the symbol that is used is the pink ribbon.
The pink ribbon
For breast cancer awareness advocates, the symbol of a pink ribbon represents hope and awareness for those affected by this terrible disease. These groups encourage people to wear this symbol and help in the efforts of raising awareness as well as much-needed funds for research.
The pink ribbon symbol has taken on many forms. It is now seen printed on various materials such as T-shirts, mugs, wristbands, and bumper stickers. In some cases, the symbol is even engraved on jewelry, the most famous of which are pink ribbon bracelets. It is also worth noting that most of the companies who sell these items contribute part of the proceeds to breast cancer research.
Other symbols
Due to the popularity of this symbol and the tremendous response it has generated, other forms of creating awareness have been initiated by various groups. Some of these include conducting Pink Ribbon Breakfasts during the month of October, which is the designated breast cancer awareness month. During these breakfasts, the issues surrounding breast cancer are discussed. The proceeds of these breakfasts go to breast cancer research.
Another form of giving support to the raising of breast cancer awareness is through illumination projects, where famous landmarks and monuments are lit pink. Most of the time, companies sponsor these.
The pink ribbon has been a recognized symbol for breast cancer awareness, and its popularity continues to grow as various groups initiate other forms of support for the cause.

Do you like hearing a good story?
I’ll bet you do, and I’ll bet the farm that your customers like hearing
a good story too. In this short article, I am going to convince you that
if you want to sell your products or services, you’ll want to sell your story
first.
The women of Gold Ribbon Gourmet have been loyal clients of mine for years. I grew up with them and played soccer with their brothers ever since high school. They approached me a few years ago with the idea of forming a business that would sell high-end baked goods. They make some of the best pastries around, I know, I’ve probably eaten too many of them.
But no one cares that they have some of the best pastries around. Yep,
I know it’s shocking, but stay with me with here – no one cares, and no one would beleive it if Gold Ribbon Gourmet told them.
There are hundreds if not thousands of other options a sweet-toothed aficionado
can satisfy their cravings. Doughnuts, cakes, pies, and chocolate covered cherries
- the list is endless. There are just too many options for customers to
choose from, and all of their competitors claim, “We’re the best“,
“We’re the fastest“, or “We’re the tastiest“. The picture I’ve
painted here looks bleak, but it’s not. In fact the women of Gold Ribbon Gourmet
have a golden opportunity.
The women of Gold Ribbon Gourmet have a secret weapon. They’ve got a story, and a damn good one.
Now I’ve told you that these women make some of the best tasting pastries around, did that do anything for you? Did that stir anything inside of you to want to try some of their high-end baked goods? Nope. At this point, is there anything memorable about Gold Ribbon Gourmet? Again, another “nope”.
Now let me tell you the real story of Gold Ribbon Gourmet.
If you look to find Gold Ribbon Gourmet’s factory you won’t find it. What you
will find are Maria, Joanna, Georgia and Eleni, three Greek sisters and their
Mother who want to share their passion for making authentic, handmade
Greek baked desserts with you.
Maria, Joanna, Georgia and Eleni make all of the desserts by hand, in a traditional Greek home and kitchen. Just like those kitchens you remember, the ones give anything to get near enough to smell the aromas.
From the honey dripping baklava to the irresistible kourambiedes, everything is bursting with the smells and tastes that you can only get from years of experience and passion for baking. And you won’t find these tastes anywhere else, Gold Ribbon Gourmet desserts are all created from secret family recipes from old world Greece that have been passed down from Mother to Daughter for generations.
When you want to have more than just another dessert, I invite you to come and experience authentic Greek desserts made from the finest hand selected ingredients and time-honored family recipes. You can smell and taste the pride, tradition and care in every bite.
Sounds awfully tempting, doesn’t it?
Do you notice the powerful difference between the two marketing approaches?
Wouldn’t you like to tell your friends that you just bought handmade, authentic Greek baklava that was made from a treasured family recipe that’s been passed down for generations?
If your marketing message is, “We’re the best“, “We’re the fastest“,
or “We have the best customer service“, you’ve got to change your marketing
focus. No one really cares and furthermore, no one will believe you. This
approach to marketing doesn’t work anymore because there are too many options
for your customer and all of your competitors are saying the same thing.
I encourage you to break free of this pattern and tell your story. Tell a story
to customers about your passion and what makes you unique. Think about it for
a second, why is Godiva chocolate cost so much more than Hershey’s if they taste
about the same? It’s the story that Godiva tells you that pulls you into buying.
When you buy Godiva chocolate, that’s something special – that’s the story they
are telling you. Are you catching on?
What’s your story?
Whether or not you know it, you have a good story too. If you’re like the women
of Gold Ribbon Gourmet, you just need someone to help them identify it and help
them share it with the world. Give me a call at 480.391.0704 or email
me at comments@candographics.com and I’ll be glad to talk with you free of charge
about your story and how you can leverage it to separate from your competition
and make a lasting impression in your customer’s hearts.
Oh, and a special thank you to Maria, Joanna, Georgia and Eleni of Gold Ribbon Gourmet. If you’ve always wanted to try authentic Greek baklava and other delicious desserts, visit them at http://www.goldribbongourmet.com, and tell them “they story” sent you!

This is for you creative mom’s out there that like to keep your little girls hair accessories neat and organized. I have a very inexpensive, and decorative way to do just that. It’s a hair accessories organizer that you can make out of a picture frame. In just a few short steps, you’ll have a nice organizer, and a decorative piece to hang on your little ones bedroom wall.
The tools and materials needed for this project include:
1. Picture frame (Size will depend on how big you will need your organizer to be.)
2. Ribbon (Again, quantity will depend on how big your frame will be.)
3. Material (For backer board )
4. Glue gun, and glue sticks (Both very inexpensive.)
5. Measuring tape.
6. Scissors.
If you have an old picture frame lying around the house, that will work fine. If not, you can pick one up at your local WalMart, craft store, thrift store,or flea market. The first step is to take the back off of the frame, and carefully slide the glass out. Next, lay the board that held the glass in place on a flat surface, and completely cover the board with the material that you picked out for the back drop. When you cut out the material for the backer board, allow an additional 2″ all the way around the perimeter so you will have an overlap to glue the material to the back of the board. Once you have the material cut to size, overlap 2″ all the way around and hot glue the material to the backer board.
Once you have your backer board wrapped and hot glued, it’s time to cut and install your ribbon strips. The number of ribbon strips you install will depend on the size of your picture frame, the width of the ribbon you are using, and the number of bows that you intend to clip on the ribbon. The next step is personal preference. You can install ribbon strips from 1/2″ to 2″ depending on how you want to lay it out. Some people like all the same width of ribbon, and some like to alternate sizes. Either way, lay your board down flat, then wrap your ribbon over the front of the board allowing 2″ at the top and bottom. Again, the 2″ overlap will allow you the extra material to hot glue to the back of the board.
The next step is spacing your ribbon across the board. This will depend on the size of bows you will be clipping onto the organizer. Start out by placing your first ribbon strip in the center, then space evenly from left to right. If your bows are small, you will probably do a space somewhere around 2″. For something larger, 4″ spacing may be appropriate. When you have your ribbon strips cut to length, pull them tightly across the front, and don’t forget to allow the 2″ overlap. Hot glue both ends, and give the hot glue time to cool off. Once you have completed these steps, you’re ready to slide the backer board back into the frame. You can hang the finished picture frame bow holder from a door, on a wall, or set it up on a dresser like you would any picture. This whole process can be done quickly and inexpensively.

how to make a hair bow holder board, how to make a hair bow organizer boardYou can create your own Christmas doorknob hanger to place on any door in the house. Just by using your imagination you can make great holiday decorations for your home, plus it’s fun for the whole family to create wonderful Christmas crafts that will last a lifetime. Below are several easy craft ideas for Christmas doorknob hangers.
Simple Holiday Doorknob Hanger: By using a 4″ to 6″ piece of plywood and dressing it up with Christmas décor, you will have a Christmas doorknob hanger in no time. All you need is a piece of plywood, Christmas colored markers, a holiday stencil, red or green chenille stems, ribbon, glue gun and of course your own imagination. Try a gingerbread man stencil and add the words “Bite Me” to the plywood. Use one of the chenille stems to hang your doorknob hanger around the doorknob once you have finished decorating it.
Christmas Crafts Doorknob Wreath: Just by purchasing a small grapevine wreath that a doorknob will go through and a few other items you can have a really unique doorknob hanger. Use a glue gun and glue little holiday bows, bells, green garland and holiday picks on the grapevine wreath and slip on the doorknob of your choice. Make one or several and get the family involved in this fun and easy project.
Jingle Bell Doorknob Hanger: A 2 ½” or 3″ gold bell is the heart of this doorknob decoration. You will also need a Christmas greenery pick (one with greenery and gold accents), 1 1/4″ wide Christmas ribbon, a 12″ length of rope that is ½” or less in thickness, green floral wire and a hot glue gun. Make a bow that has 8 loops; each loop needs to be approximately 3 ¼” long. Thread the bell onto the rope. Using lots of hot glue, glue the ends of the rope together to form a circle. Make sure the hot glued end is close to the bell. Feed a length of floral wire thru the bell loop and attach the bow to the rope and bell with the floral wire. Hot glue the Christmas pick to the center of the bow. If needed, also use the wire to keep the Christmas pick attached.
Pine Cone Doorknob Hanger: Use a pine cone to create an elegant doorknob hanger. Quickly paint craft glue onto a large pine cone, being sure to cover each pine petal. Shake glitter over the entire pine cone and let dry. Place 5 drops of essential oil onto the pine cone. Place a hole for a ribbon to fit through the top of the pine cone and put pretty holiday ribbon though it. Now tie the ribbon around the door knob to create your pine cone doorknob hanger.
Recycled Christmas Card Hanger: Use skinny Christmas ribbons in varied lengths and in colors of green, red and white. Simply cut out different pictures from old Christmas cards, such as Santa, Christmas tree, stockings etc. Small jingle bells and small candy canes are great for this project too. Using hot glue or white fabric glue, attach the cutout to the end of one of the skinny Christmas ribbons. If you want to add small jingle bells and candy canes, you will also glue them onto the ribbon. Once all is dry, tie the ribbons around a door knob into pretty bows.
Santa Door Knob Décor: For this project you will need a wooden cutout of Santa or of one of his reindeer or elves that can be found at craft stores. Using ceramic paint, paint Santa and once dried, punch a hole at the top of his head and stick a piece of holiday ribbon through the hole and tie it up around a doorknob into a pretty bow. Hot glue little bells onto the ribbon if desired. These cute little hangers look good on any door and are so easy to create.
